A group that claims to have spiraled the Namibian hip hop scene into the realm of international sound, .RUN N.A.M.S. is a collaboration of six locally styled and home-brewed Namibians from diverse backgrounds and strengths. The culture of RUN N.A.M.S. embraces the group's individuality, and shows their blending of talent with ease.
Lyricist Shay I Sparks, aka Shalongo Nambala; Cabinet Reshuffle, aka Jean-Michael Tjirare; rapper Southwest otherwise known as Simon Haufiku; and all round manager and ex police officer Buli, aka Nambuli Nashandi, showcase the passion and beat of hip hop in their souls with their first two singles, Hangover and Never.
The group awed Namibian audiences both during their first public performance at the 2011 Old Mutual Jazz Encounters, alongside the legendary Jimmy Dludlu, as well as earlier this year at the Afro Pop Jazz Festival headlined by Zahara.
