This statement resonated with a sober theme in members of the federal executive council, on Wednesday, August 22, as it came from the president, while compelling all the ministers to sign a performance contract with him. The president innovated this to drive it home to every member of his cabinet that his government would not be prepared to make excuses to the Nigerian people for any failure.
