Egypt: Constituent Assembly Members On Tour to Present Constitution Draft Abroad

A number of the constituent assembly members will begin a tour mid-September in a number of countries to listen to the opinions of Egyptian expatriates abroad after the first draft of the constitution is ready, Abdel Fattah Khattab, rapporteur of the assembly's proposals committee, said on Sunday.

In a statement the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Sunday, Khattab stated that the draft is expected to be ready before mid-September.

Egyptian communities abroad will pay the expenses of these trips, he stated, adding that the tour will include travelling to six countries which are the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and France.
