Photo: Aly Ramji/Mediapix President Paul Kagame on Tuesday evening held high level discussions with delegation from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) which has been mandated to come to Rwanda on for a fact-finding mission on the conflict in eastern DRC.
President Kagame met Mozambique counterpart and Chairperson of SADC, Armando Emilio Guebuza, who is in the country on a two-day visit. Mr Guebuza was mandated by SADC leaders to engage Rwanda as part of efforts to find last solution to the DRC conflict.
SADC Executive Secretary Thomas Salomao, who also attended the meeting said: "It is fundamental that members of SADC and members of great lakes work together and come to an understanding based on dialogue."
