Namibia: Prosecutor's Absence Delays Murder Trial

THE hearing of closing arguments in the trial of matricide suspect Natangwe Ipinge Ngatjizeko in the High Court in Windhoek had to be postponed for three months due to the absence of the prosecutor handling the case yesterday.

State advocate Constance Moyo is attending a regional conference of prosecutors at the moment, and as a result was not present for the scheduled hearing of arguments on the verdict that is to be delivered in Ngatjizeko's trial, Judge Nate Ndauendapo was informed with Ngatjizeko's latest appearance before him.
