Mambury Njie, the minister of High Education, Research, Science and Technology has been relieved of his Cabinet appointment with effect from Monday, August 27th, 2012, a media release from State House revealed.
According to the release, the president of the Republic, His Excellency, Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh was acting under the provision of Section 71(4) (b) of the Constitution of the Republic of The Gambia.
