Eritrea: Values As Regards the Armed Struggle for Liberation Being Adequately Depicted At Central Region Festival, Say Participants

Asmara — The participants of the Festival in the Central region said that the values as regards the armed struggle for liberation are adequately being depicted. They further indicated that the items staged there are vital in bequeathing national values to the young generation.

Among the participants, Mr. Goitom Tsegai and Mr. Mebrahtu Sium voiced conviction that the materials have conveyed the historical experience pertaining to what the journey for independence demanded, and called on the pertinent bodies to exert more effort in popularizing such values.

Rahel Worede and Isaac Kiflai expressed deep impression with the exhibition staged in this regard. Likewise, Fikadu Hagos and Tirhas Tesfamichael from the organizers of such camp disclosed that the displayed items comprise materials portraying media activities at the time of the armed struggle, besides the way armaments were being seized and used by the freedom fighters.
