Luanda — The minister of State for Economic Co-ordination, Manuel Vicente, inaugurated last Wednesday, in Luanda, the first stage of the Higher Institute for Information Technologies, located in Rangel Municipality.
The infrastructure is totally equipped with high technology necessary for good learning.
The school, which has a laboratory, will have technical courses such as Engineering Telecommunications and Computer Engineering.
Speaking at the ceremony, Manuel Vicente manifested his surprise at the quality of the institute and called on the younger generation to recognize the executors of this project.
"This is an investment par excellence. There is top of range technology (...). Our obligation is to come up with the corresponding human capital, so that we can take good benefit from what was done here", emphasised the minister of State.
He also reminded that this educational infrastructure is an example of the work being done by the Angolan Executive, led by President José Eduardo Dos Santos, in favour of the development of the country.
