Egypt: PM- Morsy's China Visit Achieved Positive Economic, Tourism, Investment Outcomes

President Mohamed Morsy's visit to China has achieved several positive outcomes for Egypt's economy, tourism and investment, Prime Minister Hisham Qandeel said on Friday 31/08/2012.

The coming period will witness a significant cooperation between Egypt and China, Qandeel said during a meeting with several ministers to review the outcome of Morsy's China visit.

The meeting was attended by ministers of investment, electricity, transport, communications, international cooperation, trade and industry and tourism.

The visit has remarkable outcome in the field of investment as it included many meetings with major Chinese companies in different fields, Investment Minister Osama Saleh said.

Saleh said that Morsy's talks tackled a project for establishing 150 Chinese factories in northwest Gulf of Suez.

The Minister noted that the project will create 40,000 job opportunities.
