Egypt: Qandil to Attend Funeral of Ethiopian PM

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil is due in Addis Ababa early Sunday 2/9/2012 to attend the funeral of Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi.

Qandil will be leading a high-ranking Egyptian delegation to the service scheduled to take place tomorrow in Addis Ababa.

Egyptian Ambassador in Addis Ababa Mohamed Edris told MENA correspondent Saturday Qandil will extend condolences of the Egyptian people and government to Ethiopia.

The visit reflects keenness of both Cairo and Addis Ababa to boost positive relations that started after the January 25 Revolution, Edris said.
