Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi assembled his presidential team on Sunday afternoon for the first time since its appointment to discuss issues of national interest, the Middle East News Agency reported.
The team is made up of four assistants: Pakinam Rashad Hassan al-Sharqawi (political affairs assistant), Samir Morkos Abdel Massih (democratic transformation assistant), Essam al-Haddad (foreign affairs and international cooperation assistant) and Emad Abdel Ghafour Abdel Ghani (communication assistant).
The team also includes an advisory body: Ahmed Mohamed Omran, Omayma Kamel al-Salamoni, Al-Sayed Ayman Ali, Ayman al-Sayyad, Hassanein al-Zarqa, Hussein al-Qazzaz, Khaled Alam al-Din, Rafik Habib, Sekina Fouad, Saif Abdel Fattah, Essam al-Erian, Emad Hassan Abdallah, Amr al-Leithy, Farouk Goweida, Mohamed Selim al-Awa, Mohamed Esmat Saif al-Dawla and Mohi Hamed Mohamed.
