Rwanda: Yakan Targets Algerian League

Rwandan international volleyball player Lawrence Yakan Guma who plays for Etoile Sportive Setif in Algiers has vowed to win the Algerian league in the upcoming season due to start on September 21.

Last season Guma and Vincent 'Gasongo' Dusabimana helped ESS to finish third with 46 points last season.

Speaking to Times Sport, Guma said that he is confident on fulfilling his ambition next season.

"My wish is to be a champion in Algeria and I will do all my best to win the title for my club because the team is ready and well set for the championship."

Pierre 'Marshal' Kwizera and Flavien Ndamukunda are the other players who feature for the Algerian club Al Mihlia.
