Tunisia: Co-Operation Between Tunisia and Land of Bavaria Reviewed

Tunis — Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali received on Thursday, a delegation of the Land of Bavaria led by Mrs. Emilia Müller, Bavarian Minister of Federal and European Affairs.

The meeting turned on several co-operation issues in matters of regional development and fight against rural exodus to coastal areas, a communiqué of the Prime Ministry points out.

The two Ministers also laid emphasis on the need to ensure the adequate conditions to reinforce investment in Tunisia and enhance the role of the judiciary institution.

In another connection, Mrs. Beate Merk, Minister of Justice and Consumer Protection in the German Land met on Thursday, with Justice Minister's Chief of Staff Ridha Ben Mahmoud.

The meeting turned on the reactivation of the co-operation agreements in the legal and judiciary fields and the reform of the judiciary and penitentiary institution in Tunisia.
