Nigeria: Blatter Describes Nigeria Powerful in Women Football

FIFA President Sepp Blatter yesterday paid glowing tributes to Nigeria's women football. He said the world's most populous black nation has continued to play a leading role in the promotion of the game in the universe.

"Nigeria has not only shown great potential and ability in the men's game; she has continued to exert strength and direction in the women's game. Thanks to Nigeria, women football in Africa is becoming stronger in strength and enterprise, and we are happier for it as a world body.
