Nigeria: Area Commander Appeals to Lagos CP Over Late Inspector

Lagos — The Area Commander, Area 'B' Command, Apapa, Assistant Commisioner of Police, ACP, Alhaji Ari Ali Mohamed has appealed to Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Umar Manko, to come to the aid of the family of one deceased "gallant and hardworking" Inspector Mr. Taiye Ajetumobi who was killed three weeks ago while trying to prevent a robbery operation together with his team by some hoodlums along Warehouse Road in Apapa.

Ajetumobi and three others were on routine patrol of the area in the morning that fateful day when they encountered the suspected robbers and egaged them in a fierce gun battle.
