Nigeria: Ladipo Traders Market Removes Used Tyres

To avert sanction from the Standards Organisation Nigeria (SON), following a recent raid occasioned by the government directive to ban the sale of used tyres across the country, the management of Ladipo Market, under the auspices of the Ladipo Auto Central Executive Committees (LACEC) has embarked on a total evacuation to rid the market of used tyres.

The action, being taken by its taskforce, is coming on the heels of the deadline given to members after a series of orientation and education on the grave implication.
