Liberia: Land Conflict Resolution Campaign Goes to Bong County

The Civic Education and Outreach Campaign on land issues recently launched in Monrovia by the Land Commission in collaboration with the Liberia Crusaders for Peace with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-the American people, through the Land Conflict Resolution Project (LCRP) is expected to be launched in Gbarnga, Bong County this weekend.

The land conflict resolution campaign which launch comes on the margins of growing land disputes across the country will cover five counties, namely Margibi, Bong, Nimba, Lofa and Maryland during the first phase is intended to explain to rural dwellers efforts being made by the government through the Commission to resolve the aged-old land conflict in Liberia.
