President Mohamed Morsy received Thursday 06/09/2012 visiting Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem.
The meeting took up means of boosting bilateral relations, especially in the economic and investment fields.
The talks also touched on the latest Arab developments, mainly efforts exerted to end the bloodshed in Syria.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Hisham Qandil, Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr and presidential adviser for foreign affairs Essam el-Hadad.
Prime Minister Hisham Qandil held a meeting with Qatari PM and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem. The two sides underlined the deep-rooted relations between the two countries in different fields and on all levels.
They discussed ways of boosting cooperation and Egypt's role in preserving security in the Gulf region. The meeting was attended by Egyptian ministers of finance, investment, planning and international cooperation and civil aviation and Qatari ministers of economy, finance and foreign affairs and the Qatari ambassador to Egypt.
