Egypt: Morsy Stresses That His Legislative Powers Will Be Kept to a Minimum Until Electing a New Parliament

During his meeting with the new line-up of the Council of Governors, President Mohammad Morsy renewed his assertion that the legislative powers that became within the purview of the president will be kept to a minimum until electing a new parliament.

Morsy called on governors to shoulder their responsibilities in fulfilling people's needs and to work on developing the executive and administrative bodies, presidential Spokesman Yasser Ali said on Thursday 06/09/2012.
