ENVIRONMENT conservationists have called on the government to help small-scale farmers produce more food. They have identified lack of favourable laws as the the main factor contributing to continued low food production.
"Good governance and transparent implementation of proficient policies can foster food production and help the country's food security by the year 2030," they said yesterday during a workshop in on sustainable utilisation of natural resources in Nakuru.
