Nigeria: Media Trust Donates Books to Bauchi Nursing School

Bauchi — Media Trust limited, publishers of Daily Trust, Weekly Trust, Sunday Trust and Aminiya, yesterday donated 25 different sets of basic text books to the Bauchi State School of Nursing.

Presenting the Books to the school yesterday in Bauchi, the officer in charge of corporate and social responsibility of the organization, Imam Shua'ibu said the gesture was aimed at paying back what customers have given to Media Trust by patronizing their papers and to encourage staff and students of the school to excel.

Imam said Media Trust carries out different social responsibility that include provision of scholarship to female medical students, African year award, provision of water rural communities and provision of entrepreneurship skills, which was aimed at poverty eradication among others.

The State Commissioner of Health, Dr Sani Malami who was represented by the state Director of Nursing, Aliyu Idris Abubakar commended Media Trust for the gesture and pledged to make judicious use of the books.
