Angola: Political Parties Congratulated On Successful Elections

Luanda — The chairman of the National Electoral Commission (CNE), André da Silva Neto, congratulated the political parties and coalitions in the 2012 general elections on the successful electoral process held on August 31, wishing the winning party and its head of list good work for the country's development.

André da Silva Neto said so on Friday in Luanda during an act aimed to divulge the final results of the general lections.

MPLA won the general elections of 2012 with 4.135.503 votes (71,84 per cent), and thus winning 175 seats in the next parliament, according to the final poll results divulged on Friday by the National Electoral Commission (CNE).
