Liberia's Omega Roberts scored twice as the Lone Star drew 2:2 with Nigeria in the first leg of their 2013 Africa Cup of Nations final-round qualifier in Monrovia Saturday night.

The defender put the hosts ahead in the 7th minute, but Nigeria hit back twice through midfielder Nosa Igiebor on the 16th minute and striker Ike Uche from the spot in the 20th minute.

However, Roberts rescued a point for his side with his second goal of the game midway into the second half.

Nigeria will be counting on away goal advantage when the duo lock horns in the return leg in Nigeria come October.

The winner of the two-legged encounter will pick the ticket for next year's Africa Cup of Nations' finals in South Africa.
