Liberia: Chief Karwor - Kill Democracy Sustenance Bill

The Chairman of the Traditional Council of Liberia, Chief Zanzar Karwor, has asserted that the much criticized Democracy Sustenance Bill currently at the Legislature is wrong for the country.

Recently, majority members of the House of Representatives voted for the passage of the Bill, and are now awaiting their legislative colleagues in the Upper House of Senate for concurrence, as well as the subsequent approval of the instrument by President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.
