Gambia: 'Gov't Development Priorities Top in Tostan Agenda'

Basse — The National Coordinator for Tostan International, The Gambia, has said that supporting the Vision 2020 and the Programme for Accelerated Development (PAGE) is among the top priorities of the organisation.

Ansu Kambaye was speaking at a day-long information seminar organised by Tostan at the Education conference hall in Basse, designed among other things, to highlight Tostan's Community Empowerment Programme (CEP) status of implementation, achievements/impacts and constraints, and also to work on how to forge a better partnership and collaboration between Tostan and development partners. The interactive session also provided a platform for Tostan staff to discuss their CEP objectives, approach and strategies.
