Angola: Ruling Party Victory Shows Experience With Masses

Menongue — The deputy secretary of the ruling MPLA party in south-eastern Kuando Kubango province, João António Lineya, said Monday here that the victory of his party in the general election of August 31 resulted from the sympathy of the masses of militants and implementation of socio-economic programmes.

According to the official who was reacting to the victory of MPLA and its presidential candidate, José Eduardo dos Santos, he said his party has and will continue to show maturity and experience in its governing plan.
