Egypt: Local, British Foreign Ministers Hold Talks

Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr met on Tuesday 11/9/2012 with UK Foreign Secretary William Hague.

After the meeting, Hague said that there is a sense of concern for the economic opportunities available in Egypt, stressing that Britain wanted to provide assistance and support to Egypt to make use of all available opportunities.

Hague pointed out that they discussed a number of foreign affairs issues, especially the situation in Syria.

Regarding the return of the looted funds, Amr said that the tackled this subject and Britain is ready to fully cooperate with Egypt in this regard, adding that the coming period will witness more cooperation.

Regarding the Syrian file, Amr said that they discussed the topic and informed the British minister about the Egyptian initiative in this regard.
