Zimbabwe: Woza Leaders Arrested During Bulawayo Protests

The leaders of the pressure group Women of Zimbabwe Arise (WOZA) and eight other WOZA activists were arrested during protests outside the offices of the Chronicle newspaper in Bulawayo on Wednesday.

SW Radio Africa's Bulawayo correspondent Lionel Saungweme was informed by WOZA members that police later released the eight activists, but coordinators Jenni Williams and Magodonga Mahlangu remain in police custody.
