SIMBA head coach, Milovan Cirkovic, expressed his admiration of stiff opposition his side experienced from Azam FC, saying it was something he hardly expected.
The Mainland champions chalked up a hard fought 3-2 win against Azam in the Community Shield encounter at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday, to garner a crucial morale boost ahead of the league that kicks off on Saturday. "It was a very difficult match. I did not expect it to be that much difficult but I'm delighted we fought hard and prevailed," said Cirkovic.
