Nigeria: Nasarawa Care taker Chairs Threaten Resignation Over LG Funds

Lafia — Transition management committees (TMC) chairmen of the 13 local government areas of Nasarawa State, have threatened to resign their appointments if Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura's continues to starve the LGs of funds.

The chairmen, as well as other members of the TMCs who asked not to be mentioned, told Daily Trust they have been starved of funds eight months into their administration.
