Angola: ENE Cuts Power From Cambambe Dam on Sunday

Luanda — The Angolan National Electricity Company (ENE) will cut on Sunday from 6 a.m to 2 p.m the power supply to Luanda, as from Cambambe dam, Angop has learnt.

According to a press note that reached Angop on Friday, the measure happens on account of need for holding preventive and corrective maintenance of Cambambe dam.The ENE assures that during the referred period, some zones considered priorities such as hospitals, will be fed by thermal stations. On the other hand, the ENE advises that during the period of power unavailability, the facilities will be considered be under pressure.
