Sudan: Cabinet Approves an Order Exempting Water Hoses From Vat

The Council of Ministers, at its regular meeting Thursday headed by President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, approved an order under the law of value added tax exempting water cannons of the category 25 inches to 50 inches from the value added tax (VAT).

The Spokesman of the Council of Ministers said in statements to the press that the exemption came in a timely manner as it would support the performance in the next winter season, pointing out that the move will have a positive impact in supporting the production and productivity.
