Angola: Reopening of 'Nosso Super' Supermarkets Boosts Agriculture

Menongue — The deputy governor of south-eastern Kuando Kubango province, Verónica Mutango Adolfo, asserted that the re-inauguration of "Nosso Super" network of supermarkets aims at boosting local agricultural production and the trading of products, ANGOP learnt.

She said that due to this, the problem of transporting goods from rural areas will be solved, since it is a situation that hindered peasants from selling their products.

According to the official, the government supports these private initiatives and is aware of the importance of competitiveness in

the private sector for the development of the province, with view to improve the population's living standards.
