Rwanda: Taking Agronomists Back to School, Field Work Through Community Work in Ngororero

Ngororero — The Intore team of Agronomists in Ngorororero district known as "Ingamburuzabukene" was trained on the value of Community work, economy, good governance and good social welfare of people in the retreat prepared by the community work committee in the district.

The main theme o the retreat was the value of the community work and Rwandan values including giving Rwandans Value and dignity, laws governing community work, and ways to enhance development.

Charlotte Musabeyezu the vice mayor for social affairs explained to the trainees the role of community work in the development of the people by citing examples including construction of schools, roads, water and many others.

Odette Mukantabana a worker in the National Civic Education Center explained the human and social values in community work and how Ingamburuzabukene team can develop them. They were trained on the preparation of Action Plan and Action Plan Implementation.

They were asked to review if the community work is given value and time it deserves to make the desired change in the development of the people.
