Egypt: Morsi Congratulates Somali President, Libyan PM

President Mohamed Morsi phoned on Saturday 15/9/2012 the new Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud to congratulate him on winning his country's run-off presidential elections.

Morsi wished the new Somali president success in uniting the country and ending conflicts, according to a statement released by the presidency.

Also, President Morsi telephoned the new Libyan Prime Minister Mustafa Abu Shakur to congratulate him for winning his post, according to a statement by the presidency on Saturday. Abu Shakur has won the run-off elections with 96 votes.
