Nigeria: Kia Motors to Invest in Country's Auto Industry

Lagos — Kia Motors, Korea's oldest manufacturer of motor vehicles has promised renewed investment in Nigeria's automobile industry.

Sandeep Malhotra, Chief Commercial Officer, Dana Motors limited, sole distributor of Kia vehicles in Nigeria, disclosed this in Lagos at the weekend during the test-drive of the company's latest brands.

He said the management of Dana Motors Limited is always willing to make the necessary investments in facilities and people to be able to back up the Kia vehicles that his company sells with caring and competent after sales service.

He also reiterated his company's strong commitment to the Kia brand in the country in order to make it a choice brand.

He said: "We are aware that the future of any brand would rest on the level of customer satisfaction. Towards this end, everyone in our organization has been urged to do their very best."

Malhotra said Kia Motors's annual revenue from sales in the world has hit $20 billion.
