Tunisia: NCA Speaker At Bedside of Policemen Wounded and U.S. School to Assess Damage

Tunis — National constituent Assembly (NCA) Speaker Mustapha Ben Jaafar went on Sunday to visit, at la Marsa hospital, the policemen wounded during the attack last Friday of the US Embassy in Tunis.

He also visited the US school located near the Embassy to assess the damage recorded there.

In a statement to the media, Ben Jaafar urged the civil society and political parties to raise the awareness of citizens as to the need of demonstrating and protesting in a peaceful way.

The constituent assembly will ask to open an inquiry into circumstances of the attack against the US embassy, he said.
