Tunis — The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation (ALECSO) condemns, in a communiqué released on Monday, the attack against the American School during last Friday's protests in the vicinity of the US Embassy in Tunis.

ALECSO calls on all stakeholders in Arab societies, namely governments, organisations and parties" to fight against extremism whatever its origin and make further efforts to protect all schools and educational institutions by means of providing all necessary conditions to preserve them as areas of knowledge and deep-rooting of noble moral values."
