A pilot with Air Zimbabwe has taken the airline to the High Court claiming US$76 000 in outstanding salaries. Captain Sameer Khan worked for Airzim from 2006 to date. When the company's financial woes heightened, the airline struggled to pay its workers. They failed to pay salaries in time from February 2009.
Last year, it declared a dispute when it sought to reduce pilots' salaries.
