POLICE thwarted an attempt by United Party for National Development (UPND) cadres to demonstrate at the Ndola magistrate's court where the party's former national youth chairperson Joe Kalusa was appearing on charges of conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.
Meanwhile, Kalusa pleaded not guilty to the offence before Chief Resident Magistrate Collins Lundah and his trial has been set for October 10.
