Angola: Cuba's Ambassador Hails Angola Participation in African Meeting

Luanda -Cuba's ambassador to Angola, Gisela Rivera, on Thursday here thanked the Angolan Government, specially the ruling MPLA party for sending a delegation to the 4th African meeting of solidarity with Cuba, taking place on September 21-23, in Addis Ababa, Angop has learnt.

The diplomat said so when presenting farewell bid to the Angolan delegation led by the members of MPLA politburo Jorge Inocêncio Dombolo, that will represent the African country in that event.

Topping the agenda are themes such as the fight against the economic blockade against Cuba imposed by the United States of America and the release of the five Cubans citizens detained in US 14 years ago.
