Angola: Last Quarter of 2012 May Be Rainier Says Seasonal Forecast

Luanda — The last quarter of 2012 will be more rainier than the normal in all regions of the country, with 70 to 80 percent of rains, says the master Nfinda Pedro, while presenting the seasonal forecast for the coming six months, Angop has learnt.

According to the weather forecast, there may be a greater probability of normal rains, which demands some cautions and naturally a greater attention during this period as being almost as the end of this season", he warns.

Thus, as it has been done, the forecast data are updated from the end of January, at a time that will be possible to determine if there will be recorded a drought or not, a short or a prolonged drought, given a more effective diagnosis.
