Ghana: Kotoko Board to Meet Over Striker Eric Bekoe

Board of Directors of Kotoko will hold a crunch meeting this week with the unresolved transfer issue of Eric Bekoe top of the agenda, reports in the local media have claimed.

The 25-year-old saw his move to the Ghanaian champions collapsed at the eleventh hour due to contractual disagreements.

But the Porcupine Warriors are determined to give their former striker a lifeline by offering him the final chance to soften his stance on his demands.

Media reports claim the former Petrojet man could be allowed to train with the side until he fully revovers from a troublesome knee injury.

The ex-Heart of Lions and Liberty Professionals goal machine can still feature in the Premier League this term as he qualifies to be registered under special dispensation since he is a returning foreign player. Bekoe shot to prominence after he scored 42 goals in all competitions for Kotoko in 2008.
