Africa: A Shared History - Africa Pays Hommage at African Burial Ground in New York

During the closing Wreath-laying Ceremony at the African Burial Ground in lower Manhattan yesterday, H.E. Anatolio Ndong Mba, Ambassador for the Republic of Equatorial Guinea Permanent Mission to the United Nations, paid hommage to his ancestors on behalf of the African continent.

At the African Burial Ground Visitor Center, located adjacent to the Ted Weiss Federal Building at 290 Broadway, Park Ranger Douglas of the National Park Service coordinated a tour of current exhibits for the Ambassador.
