Gambia: New AMRC MD, DMD Thank President Jammeh

Saikou Kujabi, the new managing director of the Assets Management & Recovery Corporation (AMRC) and his deputy, Lamin Sanneh, have written to President Jammeh, thanking him for appointing them to what they called 'two prestigious positions of trust'.

The letter reads:

We, the newly appointed Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director of the Assets Management & Recovery Corporation (AMRC) hereby express our profound gratitude to Your Excellency for appointing us to these two prestigious positions of trust. Thus, we and our families are indeed delighted and happy to serve our dear motherland and humanity in general.

We share Your Excellency's vision of transforming The Gambia into a middle income country with a strong manufacturing and industrial base. We also identify with Your Excellency's Pan-African and humanitarian endeavours that have made the Gambia more prominent on the world map.

Sir, we pray to the Almighty Allah to continue to grant long life, good health, strength and wisdom to Your Excellency to continue to steer the affairs of our fastdeveloping country. Please sir, do accept the assurances of our highest consideration and esteem.
