The consortium of oil and explorers operating offshore In Lamu and Malindi areas are set to conduct fresh 3D systemic surveys in blocks L10A and L10B. Pancontinental oil & gas of Australia which own 15 percent in the joint venture announced that following the survey will be done in November.
"Following 2D and 3D seismic surveys completed in early 2012 the L10A and L10B they plan to carry out a new 3D survey of 2,280 sq km in the western portion of the licence areas," said a statement released by Pancontinental Oil & Gas company Chief Executive Barry Rushworth.
