Sudan: Negotiating Delegation Affirms Agreement On Temporary Security Map Has Nothing to Do With Final Status of Borders

Addis Ababa — The Sudanese government negotiating delegation issued Saturday evening a press statement that renewed its approval of the map that identifies the demilitarized zones between Sudan and South Sudan.

The delegation affirmed that the approval is linked with the agreement between the two countries on the special arrangements of (Mile 14) southern Bahral-Arab, adding that they presented practical and specific proposals on these arrangements, stressing that negotiation and agreement in this regard is concerning a temporary security affairs map and has nothing to do with borders final status.
