Angola: Vaumara Rebelo Elected Miss Angola in U.S

Luanda — Vaumara Rebelo, Angolan citizen residing in Miami, was elected on September 23 as Miss Angola in the USA, in the first edition of the competition which took place at Warner Theater in Washington, D.C.

The event is an initiative of the association of Angolan citizens residing in the United States of America, known as Kudissanga, which organised it with the approval of Miss Angola Committee and the support ofthe Angolan Embassy in that country.

The pageant had contestants from New York, Pennsylvania, Virgínia, Texas, Oregon, Florida and Massachusetts.

The 21-year old Luanda-born Vaumara Rebelo is a second year company management student at Miami Dade College and will participate in the Miss Angola 2012 Pageant.
