Nigeria's electricity industry has a deficit of 8,400 skilled workers, a number expected to rise to 17,441 in five years, says the National Power Training Institute (NAPTIN).
"This huge gap between actual skilled manpower and manpower required is increasing annually," NAPTIN's director of business service Fatima Jibril said Monday.
