Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kwesi Nyantakyi has confirmed his participation in the upcoming Soccerex Seminar Lagos, commenting on the importance of the event and the presence of the football business industry in Africa.
Soccerex's commitment to promoting the growth of football business worldwide is proven once again with their inaugural event in West Africa.
Soccerex is the Global Leader for the Football Business Industry, with events all over the world. Their flagship event, the Soccerex Global Convention, brings together businesses of all sizes that work in the football industry, as well as many of football's current stars and legends of the game.
Speaking to Goal.com, Mr. Nyantakyi said the seminar is one of the best platforms to share ideas aimed at transforming the beautiful game on the continent. "It is a good platform to discuss issues about development of football in Africa," Nyantakyi said.
The seminar is scheduled to take place from September 27-28 in Lagos, Nigeria. In partnership with Lagos State Football Association, the Soccerex Seminar Lagos will provide a commercial platform for 750 key global industry stakeholders to network, foster new business links and share knowledge in one of football's most lucrative emerging markets.
The Ghana FA boss said he will be speaking on diverse issues regarding football administration and the business side of the game. He noted that sharing ideas is the best means to make football attractive on the continent, adding that he is also anxious to tap into the expertise of other participants.
"I will share my experiences on the story of football development in Ghana. I also expect to pick up a few learning points from co-participants," the FA president added.
